Lakeview Arkansas

Sightseeing in Lakeview Arkansas

Gaston’s White River Resort has everything you need for a spring vacation. Fly-fishing school, nature walks, a swimming pool, and so much more, we are sure you will find something for everyone to enjoy. Even though our resort has a lot to offer, so does the town of Lakeview Arkansas. With amazing viewpoints and trails, there is so much to experience when sightseeing outside our fantastic resort.

Enjoy nature up close on one of the many hiking and biking trails.  The closest trails are at the Bull Shoals-White River State Park. You will find trails to fit every skill level from easy to strenuous.  This park sits at the convergence of Bull Shoals Lake and the White River. Plus, it is packed with scenic overlooks and trails to experience the Ozarks up close!

Bull Shoals Dam is a must see when visiting Arkansas. When you explore the James A. Gatson’s Visitor Center, you will experience more than the views you will see. Take a look at their museum which boasts a detailed history of the state of Arkansas and the Bull Shoals Dam, as well as a gift shop for specialty items. A big reason people stop by is to see the view from the dam. The observation deck offers plenty of chairs to sit back, relax, and experience the spectacular views. Set high above the beautiful Bull Shoals Lake and the trout-filled waters of the White River, see for yourself what the surrounding mountains, hills, and bluffs are like.  This center has been a wonderful addition to our beautiful, mountain area and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Gaston’s White River Resort is close to all the amazing attractions that Lakeview Arkansas has to offer. No matter where you choose to adventure, we are sure you will cover your sightseeing needs when spending time in the Ozarks.
