Group Fishing Rates
The White River stays the same temperature year-round, and therefore the trout are always active. Please note that fly fishing is not the only way to fish here, you can also go spin fishing. Either method you choose, you’ll get some great fish, the objective is to have fun! Gaton’s White River Resort offers boat rentals which include fuel, chairs and cushions, drag-chain, paddles, life jackets, and landing net.
We offer a variety of rates and trip options to help our guests find the perfect fishing excursion they want. If you’ve never been fly fishing, we offer fly fishing classes. Our one day course for two people is led by Frank Saksa, and combines some classroom teaching and hands-on practice on the water, making it a great way to gain experience and knowledge for years to come. You’ll learn all the tricks and technique for the same price than a full day guided fishing trip.
Gaston’s White River Resort Accommodations
We offer a variety of lodging, from hosting your group of twenty people to a solo trip, and everything in between. The Cottage and the Lodges I and II, can all lodge up to eight guests and offer private housekeeping with a kitchen, four large private bedrooms with a private bath for each bedroom. They also have a fireplace and living rooms. The only difference is the Cottage has a patio unlike the Lodges I and II. If you’re looking for a private cottage for your family, you’ll love the Mountain Oak or the House. They feature four large bedrooms, four bathrooms, a fireplace and living room, as well as a large private redwood deck.
If you’re planning a big group, you’ll need to book our River Villa, which offers private housekeeping with a kitchen, ten large private bedrooms, each with a private bath and two double beds. You’ll also have a meeting room, that doubles as a living room, with a fireplace. There is a large patio with a charcoal pit to accommodate up to twenty guests. If you’re only looking for bedroom accommodations without a kitchen, we do offer those too.
