At Gaston’s White River Resort, we offer full and half day guided fishing tours so you can fit in the best fishing you have ever experienced into your weekend getaway. The White River Runs approximately 720 miles throughout its journey through the Ozark Mountains and is home to the best trout fishing. Depending on what day you leave we recommend a full day trip. You will get lessons and tips on how to fish for trout and then have enough time to find your perfect catch. If you are up for more adventure sign up for fly fishing lessons. You will be taught in a classroom setting as well as hands-on experience to make sure that you are prepared and can use these skills in the future.
Sightseeing
After you have taken a day or half day to fish the famous White River, it is time to see what is around

Bull Shoals Dam is a must see when visiting Arkansas. Explore the James A. Gatson’s Visitor Center, and learn about the history of Arkansas and the Bull Shoals Dam. Stop by the observation deck to sit back, relax, and experience the spectacular views of Bull Shoals Lake and The White River.
The closest trails are at the Bull Shoals-White River State Park. You will find trails to fit every skill level from easy to strenuous. This park sits at the convergence of Bull Shoals Lake and the White River. Plus, it is packed with scenic overlooks and trails to experience the Ozarks up close!
