The Christmas Parade in Mountain Home is a local festival celebrating the holidays. Starting at 6 pm on December 2nd, 2016, this parade will have a Candyland theme. It is perfect for families and couples wanting to experience seasonal treats during their stay. Another wonderful winter activity is Ice Skating, and there are plenty of rinks to skate at.
If you want to get the most of out of your Ozark vacation, head to the James A. Gaston’s Visitor Center. Learn all about the river, dam, and lake system, or spend your time driving through the mountains. You’ll be able to snap beautiful photos of the scenery as you wind your way through the mountain tops. Plus, if you’re hiking or biking, check out some of the waterfalls in the area. There are over 10 falls within a 40-minute drive from our Resort. You can enjoy a fantastic day trip visiting the waterfalls and coming back to your warm, cozy cabin on the White River.
