Once we reserve a cottage for you, we remove it from the market, refusing all other requests. If you cancel a reservation 15 days or more prior to your arrival date, we will refund you deposit minus a $75.00 cancellation fee. For parties of 20 persons or more, a 30 day notice is necessary. Cancellations of less than two weeks’ notice are subject to total loss of deposit.
No, we do not take reservations over the Internet at this time, due to the fact that it can all change in a moments notice, but you can make requests for availability online. If you would like to make reservations, we only take them over the phone. We are always happy to check on available dates for you. All you have to do is call (870) 431-5202.
Check in is normally 3:00 PM and check out is 11:00 AM. Most of the time, you can get into your cottage before 3:00 PM, but that is not guaranteed. As far as late arrivals, if you don’t make it here before our office closes, you can still get into your cottage. A reservation is not deemed a no show until the next morning when we open the office at 6:30 AM.
Each cottage has a wireless connection to our free Internet service. You simply choose the username designated for your room and type in the password supplied. Make sure to let the computer obtain IP and DNS settings automatically, and you are online.
No, we supply all the linens and bedding for the cottages. All kitchenette cottages come complete with plates, bowls, forks, spoons, knives, pots, pans, and many other common items. If you are going to be cooking something that requires the use of a specialty item, you might want to bring it with you.
Yes, we supply firewood and bags of kindling to help start the fire. You might need fire starters or newspaper, which is available for purchase at the front office.
