This photo was taken by a local lady here in
Lakeview.  Rose comes down to the resort
almost daily to take photos and they are all
as stunning as this.  She is a very talented
lady and we certainly appreciate her sharing
her awesome photos with us.  I have now
started a page dedicated to Rose's photos,
so please click here to see the full collection.
(updated regularly)

This photo was taken by Rick Tattitch.  He has
been staying with us for 18 years and says that
he always catches plenty of trout, regardless
of the weather.  He usually comes to see us in
the winter months, since the river is open year
round and the fishing is so good in January,
February, and March for big brown trout.
Thanks Rick; great photo!

"Just returned home from another GREAT weekend at Gaston's. As usual we had a wonderful time and the fishing outstanding.  I am attaching a couple of pictures of the lunkers I have caught Fishing with Frank. The first was on 1/4/2003, it was a 11 pound Brown, we released it at the dock. The second is the one I caught this week 1/8/2005, it was a 9.5 pound Brown, we released it back into the river around Blue Hole.  Again, I want to thank you for a FANTASTIC trip.
We have already booked for next year, I can't wait to catch another Lunker."

Rodney- Thank you for the photos!  Frank and
the rest of us look forward to seeing you again
next winter for some excellent big brown fishing.

"This 7.5 lb. Brown was caught by my fiance',
Linda Couser, of Dallas, Texas.   Released,
of course.   It was a magnificent occasion
for her as this was her very "first" large fish.
We're "comin' back."

Dan-  Now you have the right idea!  Let her
get addicted to trout fishing, then you can
come back anytime you want!  Smart man!

This picture was taken by Howard MacFarlane from
Cabot, Arkansas in January.  We do not get much snow
here in the Ozarks, but when we do, it is very beautiful
and serene.  The structure in the picture is our gazebo
behind cottage 73. Most people get married at this gazebo.
With a picture like this, maybe more couples should
consider a January date for a "White Wedding."

This one was sent to us by the Jerry King
group from Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.  They
stayed here as part of the Antique Motorcycle
Club's 2nd meeting at the resort.  This is one
of our squirrel feeders located at many places
around the resort.  If you look closely, you can
see a red fox squirrel sticking his head out
to say "Hello."

Here is a photo submitted by Connie Darby of
Burleson, Texas.  She caught this beautiful six
pound Brown while fishing with one of our
guides.  Normally the fish pictures all go to the
Virtual Trophy page but Connie did email this
photo to me and since it shows the beauty of
the river, I felt it would be appropriate.
