NO FLOODING CONDITIONS ON THE UPPER WHITE RIVER

Current Conditions on the White River

 The White River at Gaston’s the Corps is running about nine units, the water is clear. The Corps this afternoon around 12:30pm open all the flood gates about six inches.  The river is about one foot higher than it is at eight units.  Trout fishing has been good. The Bull Shoals dam is holding water back due to the flooding on the lower end of the White River, in the Delta region.

Bull Shoals Lake has surpassed its top flood pool level of 695 feet, according to an Army Corps of Engineers web site.
The 9 a.m. reading showed Bull Shoals at a level of 695.03 feet.

The lake is expected to be at or near its crest, officials have said. Meanwhile, the level on Norfork Lake continues to drop slowly. Norfork's level was 579.09 this morning, down from a record 582.30 last week. The top flood pool at Norfork is 580 feet.
