"Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could;
Some blunders and absurdities crept in;
Forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day;
You shall begin it serenely and
With too high a spirit to be encumbered
With your old nonsense."

FAMOUS White River Shore Lunches and Cook Outs.

We "Do It All"
and First Class
July 12,
2007 - August 3, 2007

For the past three weeks, generation has been 0 - 2 units early in the morning, then 2 - 5 units throughout the afternoon, cutting generation back to 1 or 2 units at dark.
Catching the elusive trophy trout can be accomplished by using yellow power eggs on dead low water. Also, a combination of power eggs and pink glow worms may entice a big trophy trout. When 1 to 2 units are running, red and gold spoons and spinners really catch an abundance of trout. On 3 to 4 units, black and gold Countdown Rapalas or black w/ orange belly rogue will catch trophy trout when using the bait properly. If ever the trophy seeker is in doubt, try fishing w/ a box of live red worms.
Fly fishermen want to look at pink or white 1/64th oz. chrome headed jigs, or red San Juan worms when there is 2 or more units running. The high water releases the natural baits hidden under rocks and washes them down stream. The trophy trout love 'em. On 0 or 1 unit running, try fishing with a zebra midge, bulbous bivisible, or a grasshopper pattern.
It is
rewarding to see the bait fisherman, fly fisherman, guides, operators and the
public working together in the best interest of the White River and it's Trophy
Trout fishing program. Just proves what a bit of team work will do.
Good luck with your fishing and take a buddy along to enjoy fishing also
and to make memories of a life time.
